LORD KARTIKEYA ( son of Lord Shiva )
- Slew an invincible demon called Tarakasura. Skanda(Kartikeya) was born to kill Tarakasura.
- Slew Simhamukhan and Surapadman (brothers of Tarakasura).
- Slew the son of daitya chief (Bali) along with his younger brother.
- Slew Mahishasura, who was surrounded by eight padmas of daityas.
- Slew Tripada, who was surrounded by 1,000 ajutas of daityas.
- Slew Hradodara, who was surrounded by tennikharvas of daityas.
LORD BALARAMA ( elder brother of Lord Krishna, incarnation of Adi Ananta Shesh Naag, partial incarnation of Lord Vishnu )
- Had killed Dhenukasura, the ass demon.
- Had killed Pralambasura , the forest fire demon.
- Had killed Dvivida, the gorilla.
- Had killed Balvala, a demon.
- Had killed Romaharshana Suta.
- Had killed Mushtik (a wrestler and a subject of the wicked Kamsa)
- Had defeated Bhima in a wrestling bout.
- Had defeated Jarasandha and his army 17 times whenever he had attacked Mathura for taking revenge for Kamsa’s death. Also, spared Jarasandha’s life due to Krishna’s intervention.
- Lord Balarama using his favourite weapon : The Plough (Hala) and began to drag Yamuna in a hundred streams. Understanding the Supreme and transcendental position of Balarama, Yamuna devi personally appeared and offered her obeisances to the Lord with many prayers in His glorification. Thus pleased, the Lord entered and bathed in the waters of the river. This incident shows his raw power.
- Lord Balarama had dragged Hastinapura into the Ganges by using his favourite weapon: his plough. The horrified Kauravas then surrendered unto the lotus feet of Balarama, begging for his mercy.
- Defeated everybody in the Banasura war except Lord Shiva, including his Ganas.
LORD RAMA ( 7th incarnation of Shri Vishnu )
- On the sixth day of the yajna conducted by Rishi Vishwamitra (Guru of Shri Rama and Lord Lakshmana) , two demons :Maricha and his brother Subahu, with a horde of other demons tried to destroy the yajna fire by showering it with blood and flesh. Lord Rama fired his ‘Manavastra’ (which could send its entire target miles away) from his bow. The arrow struck Maricha's chest and threw him a hundred leagues away, into the ocean.
- Slew the demoness Taraka in his childhood who was using illusions to protect herself from the young warrior prince.
- Shri Rama did the deliverance of Ahalya , the wife of sage Maharishi Gautama.
- Shri Rama effortlessley lifted and broke the heavy bow which was present at Devi Sita’s swayamvar. This bow was blessed by Mahadeva. Not even Ravana could lift it, despite being a great devotee of Lord Shiva.
- Shri Rama took away the Vishnu Tej from Lord Parashurama (6th incarnation of Shri Vishnu) and spared his life at Devi Sita’s swayamvar.
- Lord Rama lifted the skeleton of a demon called ‘Dundubhi’, just by one hand, even without lifting his own feet and effortlessly flung it into the air. It vanished into the sky, fell beyond the horizon ten yojanas away, thus satisfying Sugriva and Lord Hanuman with his valour and prowess.
- Lord Rama showed the strength of his arms to all by piercing seven sala trees with a single arrow. Sugriva was doubtful at Lord Rama's strength owing to his fear of Vali, and so he had requested Rama to show his true powers.
- Lord Rama killed 14,000 demons of the army of Khara and Dushana using only normal arrows. He drew 500–1000 of arrows at a time including a ‘Gandharva’ missile. Lord Rama then used a ‘Brahmastra’ to kill Khara(brother of Ravana). Lord Rama did this all alone without a chariot or without anyone’s assistance.
- Lord Rama slayed an army of Ravana's demons which consisted of 18 thousand elephants, 14 thousand horses, 10k chariots and 2 lacs of demons consisting of chariot warriors and foot soldiers with a ‘Gandharva’ missile in just a couple of hours. Lord Rama was so fast in his movements that the demon's couldn't see him, they were confused and believed that so many Rama were fighting against them.
- Lord Rama spared the life of Dashanan Ravana in their first encounter. Lord Rama had smashed the chariot of Ravana to pieces, had broken his bow. Ravana was now weaponless, so Rama left him to come prepared fresh with new weapons another day. Lord Rama had rode the back of Lord Hanuman that day in his fight against Ravana.
- Lord Rama had killed Kumbhakarna (brother of Ravana) using Vayavya and Aindrastra.
- Lord Rama killed Makarakshasa (son of Khara) using Pavakastra.
- Lord Rama killed Jayanta (son of Indra) by using a Brahmastra through the blades of grass.
- A Brahmastra was aimed by Shri Rama to make way out of the sea so that the army of apes(vanara) could march towards Lanka. However, as Shri Rama loaded the weapon, Varuna Deva (God of Ocean) appeared and requested Rama not to dry up the ocean. Varuna Deva then offered to assist the warrior prince in crossing the ocean. But once invoked, the Brahmastra must be discharged, and hence it was fired towards ‘Dhrumatulya’ , falling at of modern-day ‘Rajasthan’, causing it to become a desert for eons to come.
- Lord Rama had killed Kabandha (a demon).
- And, finally Prabhu Shri Rama had slayed the demon Lankapati Ravana using a ‘Brahmastra’ ,after a very dreadful battle which had lasted for several days.
LORD HANUMAN ( foster son of Vayu Deva, partial incarnation of Lord Shiva & biggest devotee of Shri Rama )
- In his childhood, he had flown 300 yojanas away towrds the sun to gulp it .
- Devraj Indra’s deadly Vajra (the thunderbolt) didn’t affect Lord Hanuman at all and it just mutilated his jaw.
- Lord Hanuman through his dynamic divine powers, transformed himself into the size of mountain, and flew across the narrow channel to Lanka which was hundreds of yojanas away.
- On his way to Lanka, Lord Hanuman had defeated Sursa, a demoness.
- Killed Sinhika, another demoness after overpowering her.
- Defeated Lankini, the chief security guard of Lanka and gained the entry to Lanka. He was able to defeat Lankini, despite the fact that she had a boon from Lord Brahma.
- Had killed Akshaya Kumara (son of Ravana).
- Had killed Jambumali (son of Prahasta).
- Had killed 80,000 powerful demons called Kinkaras using an iron rod.
- Had killed 7 army generals of Ravana along with their chariots, horses and elephants.
- Had killed Akampana by striking a huge tree on his head.
- Had killed Trishira by beheading him.
- Had killed Devantaka (son of Ravana).
- Had killed Nikumbha (son of Kumbhkarna).
- Had killed Dhumraksha (son of Sumali & maternal uncle of Ravana).
- Had killed Kalanemi (son of Maricha).
- Had killed Ahiravana and Mahiravana.
- Had defeated Ravana and Meghnad.
- He had conquered the entire city of Lanka which couldn’t be conquered by Devas, rakshasas, nagas, gandharvas etc.
- He had set fire to the entire Lanka.
- He had once broken Lord Shiva’s Trident (mentioned in Puranas).
- He had crushed Indra’s army thrice in a day.
- He had saved the Vanara army along with Shri Rama, Lakshmana and others multiple times from Meghnad’s celestial weapons and illusions.
- Lord Hanuman was the only vanara who was not defeated by Kumbhkarna. Hanuman had broken the spike of Kumbhkarna at once which weighed nearly 20,000 tulas.
- He had saved the vanara army from Ravana’s Maya spear which he had launched on Lakshmana.
- He was able to withstand Ravana’s arrows which were strong as Indra’s Vajra due to his boons.
- Lord Hanuman had saved Lakshmana’s life twice by flying to fetch a specific herb from the mount Dronagiri (Mahodaya) or the Gandhamardan Hills, far to the north of the Vindhyas on the slopes of the Himalayas. Upon reaching Dronagiri Parvata or Gandhamardan, Lord Hanuman could not identify the herb and so, he lifted the whole mountain by and brought it to the battlefield. This incident shows the sheer power of his arms.
- Lord Hanuman had successfully lifted Lakshmana’s body due to his great physical strength. Even Ravana had failed to lift the body of Lakshmana.
LORD KRISHNA ( 8th incarnation of Shri Vishnu )
- Slew Putana, the witch demoness when he was just an infant.
- Slew Trinavarta, the whirlwind demon.
- Slew Sakatasura, the invisible demon (a cursed Yaksha) (less popular story).
- Slew Kagasura, the crow demon (less popular story).
- Slew Bakasura, the stork or crane demon.
- Slew Aghasura, the serpent or python demon.
- Slew Vyomasura, the bat demon or the demon in the sky.
- Slew Vatsasura, the calf demon.
- Slew Aristasura, the bull demon.
- Slew Keshi or Kesi, the horse demon. Lord Krishna was thus called ‘Keshava’.
- Slew Madhu, a demon. Lord Krishna was thus called ‘Madhusudhan’.
- Killed Kuvalayapida (a giant elephant) with a mere blow of his fists.
- Killed a fierce colossal whale demon named Panchajanya and crafted a conch shell from it's bones.
- He journeyed to the celestial realm and killed the demons Naraka (a demon who held 16,000 women captive), Mura, Nisunda and Ahvriti.
- Slew Mura, a demon. Lord Krishna was thus called ‘Murari’.
- Marched to Mount Mandara and killed countless followers of Ravana who existed aeons after Ravana's death at Lord Rama's hands.
- Slew Dantavakra, a demon in the form of human.
- Slew Shishupala (his cousin) at Yudhishthira’s Rajasuya Yagna with his Sudarshan Chakra.
- Killed Chanura, the wrestler.
- Killed the mighty Bhoja chief Kamsa.
- He chastised serpent Kaliya in river Yamuna.
- Effortlessly lifted the mighty Govardhana mountain and thus pacified the rage of Devraj Indra. Lord Krishna was thus called ‘Govardhana Girdhari’.
- Killed Kalyavan, a demon and an ally of Jarasandha, with the help of Sage Muchukunda who was in a very deep penance.
- Broke Lord Brahma’s ego. (Brahma Vimohana)
- He did the deliverance of Nalakubera and Manigriwa ( the twin arjuna trees).
- Defeated Yama in a battle and brought back Rishi Sandipani's dead son from Patala loka
- Defeated Varuna Deva (God of Ocean) and his army in the summit of Lohita mountain.
- Defeated all the demons and aquatic creatures of Rasatala
- Defeated Devraj Indra in a battle and seized the Parijata tree of Amravati.
- Had defeated Jarasandha and his army 17 times whenever he had attacked Mathura for taking revenge for Kamsa’s death.
- Fought an epic battle with Jambvanta, the King of the Bears from Ramayana era. When he showed that he was none else but Lord Rama himself, Jambvanta ceased to fight and bowed down before Krishna.
- Defeated Mahadeva. He is the only warrior in history who was able to defeat Lord Shiva (The Destroyer). He had hurled his Naraynastra towards Shiva when the latter had used the mighty Pashupatastra.
